Abary /Mangrove Tour Abary is 43 miles from Georgetown and an excellent birding area it is known for the Abary Bridge located on the Main Highway. Farming is the predominant human use of the lower reaches of the river. This site is inhabits most coastal and mangrove endemics which can only be found here. We will begin birding into habitats of Mangrove forest on a trail off the highway. Mangrove Forest is still intact since it’s protect and do provides a rich food source for species here.
