Garden of Eden Tour A short 35 minutes drive along the East bank of Demerara River leads to the Garden of Eden. This is one of the few areas close to Georgetown where large populations of Red-bellied Macaws, hummingbirds and parrots can be seen. The habitat here is mostly of eta Palms, swamps, cultivated cash crops farms and grasslands. A total of 213 species are already recorded here and it entertains lots of Hummingbirds, Seedeaters, Tanagers and Woodpeckers. Highlight species such as the Green-throated Mango, Black-throated Mango, white-tailed Goldenthroat, Green-tailed Goldenthroat, Red-bellied Macaw and Wedge-tailed Grassfinch are often seen here.
